Super Saloon (ITC) – JK Tyre National Road Racing Championship Round 4, Chennai MMRT Circuit

Race 1
Rajvirdhan got a clean start to win the race from pole to finish.

Rajvirdhan qualified on pole for the 4th round of the National Indian Touring Cars Championships. Alongside it was Siddharth while Leela and Rajaram were on row 2.

At the lights Raj got away smoothly but Siddharth was overtaken by Leela soon after the start. The top 3 spanned out evenly with comfortable lead from the others. There was some battle for the sore eyes between Rajaram and Radha Selvarajan which the latter got the better of the former at the end. Otherwise the race was boring but fast and loud. Bala Vijay´s car didn´t even make it to the start and encountered a mechanical failure in the sighting lap. Finally Raj won the race with Leela and Siddharth on the podium again.

Race 2
Raj dominates the weekend with Leela and Siddharth following him

Rajvirdhan took up 3 cars at the start to lead the race starting 4th as per the reverse grid format. Radha and Bala didn´t start the race. Rajaram started on pole with Leela alongside him but it was Raj who slingshot into the lead followed by Leela and Siddharth. Rajaram retired on Lap 2. Leela did lose momentum by half way distance and fell into the clutches of Siddharth but Leela immediately managed to recover and opened up a cushion again on Siddharth. It was Raj who won with ease though his pace reduced at the last few laps.
