Pole position for Ameya, Jehan, Kush
Hyderabad, Aug 6: Mumbai´s Jehan Daruvla of Rayo Racing put in a fine performance to take the pole positionti for the Pre–Final in the junior class in the fourth round of the JK Tyre–FMSCI National Rotax Max Karting Championship, here on Saturday ahead of his arch–rival Arjun Maini (Maini Racing) after an intense battle in the heats.

The 12–year old Daruvala set a hectic pace in both the heats, taking early lead and then defending his track position. "My strategy was to put my head down over the first five laps and build a good lead. I will follow the same tactics on Sunday also," said Daruvala with reference to Maini who has won all the three races this season

Also snatching pole position were Kush Maini (Maini Racing) in the Micro Max and Ameya Bafna (Rayo Racing) in the Senior Max classes, both winning the two heats in their respective categories.

While Kush was in a league of his own while winning by a comfortable margin, Bafna had to work hard for his two wins from Vishnu Prasad (Meco Racing) and championship leader Chittesh Mandody (Mohite´s Racing).
