Shahan Ali Mohsin clinches double in MicroMax category

Hyderabad, June 20, 2015: Shahan Ali Mohsin clinched both heats in the Micro Max category (10 laps) on day one of the first round of the 12th JK Tyre–FMSCI National Rotax Max Karting Championship at the Chicane Circuit here on Saturday. While he won the first race by a narrow margin from Nikhil Bohra, it was more comfortable for him in the second.

In the Junior Max category, a 15 lap race, the first heat was claimed by Akash Gowda, while Pradyumna V Danigond and Paul Francis were second and third respectively. In the second heat, Yash Aradhya, Mohammed Nallwala and Aanjan Patodia were the top three finishers.

In the 15–lap Senior Max class, the winner in the first heat was Ameya Bafna. Vishnu Prasad and Nayan Chaterjee finished second and third respectively. Dhruv Mohite won the second heat, with Nayan Chaterjee and Ricky Donison finishing behind him in that order.
