Kush Maini wins the National Micro Max Championship 2011
Kush Maini wins the National "Micro" Rotax Max Karting Championship 2011. This CIK/FIA & FMSCI approved championship organized by Meco motorsports and sponsored by JK Tyres, runs over 6 rounds across 4 cities from May till October every year.

As the final round which was to be held at the Noida F1 circuit next month got cancelled, the 5th and 6th rounds was combined together in Hyderabad which will decide the championship.

Kush Maini the youngest of Maini brothers dominated all rounds throughout the season with a win in each round and held a massive points cushion over the next closest contender. Maini was always in a class of his own over his competitors in all races. He was challenged by Abhirath Shettty on the final round but Abhirath had to contend with the back of the field due to the bang in the 2nd corner after the start. Kush won the championship with ease, his main title contender Pradyumna Danigon had a bad final round and finished way down the order. Pradyumna finished second in the points table just ahead of the AKC Champ Akash Gowda. Another impressive performance of the season was by Mira Erda who ended the last round with two podium finishes and finished 5th in the championship.

Kush commented "I feel very happy coz I won my first championship i´m only 10yrs I feel very pleased and happy. I thank my full team Maini Racing, Akil, Nizam, my father and grand father who came here." "Next year I move to the junior max catergory and look forward to race with my brother Arjun".
