Race 1
Rajvirudhan wins while Leela Krishnan makes a comeback podium after 17 years of retirement
V Rajvirdhan (Prime Racing) over came tough Friday practice after blowing three engines and won the saturday race (Race1) with a borrowed car drom his dad B.Vijaykumar (Prime Racing). Rajvirdhan who was on pole made a clean start and started to pull away while championship leader Radha Selvarajan (Rad Racing) faced retirement in the opening lap.

Raj crossed the line 15seconds ahead of veteran N.Leela Krishan (Rad Racing) who returned to racing after a gap of 17 years. Leela´s 2nd place was a vindication for the veteran after a bad two rounds in Coimbatore due to engine failures. The young Siddharth Kishore finished 3rd. Former rally star Jagat Nanjappa (FRK Racing) had a nasty rub off with the barriers on the main straight which damaged his car and had to retire.

Race 2
Radha comes back to win while Raj faces mechanical failure
Race 2 on the reverse grid format saw C Rajaram on polealongside the veteran 68yrs old Vidyaprakash who was missing from the gird. Soon after the formation lap the start was delayed and the race reduced to 9laps. The start saw Rajaram lead into the first corner but soon he was pushed to 4th while Rajvirudhan took the lead followed by Radha and Leela. Raj looked to getaway from Radha but on lap 3 he suddenly dropped off and handed the lead to Radha. Rajvirdhan had to retire due to a mechanical failure.

The race was still hot on as Radha was closed down by Leela but couple of laps later Leela decided to play safe.Radha won the race with ease after retiring out on Race 1. Siddharth Kishore came in third. Pole sitter Rajaram on his supertuned Maruti Zen had to retire on the 7th lap. While Vir Raina had to start from the pits due to a starting trouble on grid and managed to finish 7th.
